Digipak 6- David Guetta

Looking into themes within digipaks and then discovering how this theme suits the music artist is subliminal to the audience however is crucial to the selling point. David Guetta is a Dj and the way this digipak is composed portrays this idea.

Davids work is brought into the mainstream being liked by many many people due to its pop genre tempo. This is conveyed through his digipak also and is easy to look thought due to colour way and imagery. The image of himself on the front cover gives insight to the artist himself in the grey and black tone to emphasis his look, a raw feel. The rest of the cover is simply styled with a white background with abstract primary and secondary colour shapes creating the theme of pop culture which then is a link to the music. Davids names type face is san serif, which looks much more modern than serif text. This type is further manipulated to have connecting letters which looks fitting to a digital theme which then works well with Davids  DJ-ing.

I personally like this cover because of how its designed against his music styling. I think that it could be further improved though to show more about the individuality of the artist however isn't a major issue as this needs to appeal to almost everybody as this music is generic in pop culture.
